DESIRE LORDSON

The inclusion of women in decision making in the Country has gained advocacy.

A student of a Government Secondary School, Miss Sylvester Favour and another male student from a Private Secondary School in Port Harcourt, Master Tonte Tobin, joined other students in a debate on the importance of women inclusion in decision making.

Though a young male, Master Tobin agreed with winner Sylvester that the role of women in decision making in the Country will bring more development to the Nation.

Reacting to the development, The Phalga Zonal Director of Rivers State Ministry of Education, Dr. Emmanuel Jamabo, organizer, Dr. Emem Okon of Kebetkache Women development and Resource Centre, expressed pleasure that Government schools were still standing out in academic constructiveness, urging everyone to take the message of inclusion seriously.

The students expressed preparedness to carry the message of gender inclusion to their contemporaries.
