NDDC BOARD TO SET NEW VISION FOR THE COMMISSION

The Chairman, Governing Board of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Mr. Chiedu Ebie says there will be new vision to drive the activities of the substantive board to achieve reasonable milestones. 

 Mr. Ebie who made this known after a facility tour at NDDC headquarters Marine Base, Port Harcourt Rivers State, gave assurance of the determination of the new board to set goals that would guide management in the bid to actualize the commission’s developmental mandate.

According to the Chairman, the board would study what is on ground and leverage on the knowledge as a spring board to higher heights. 

Concerning ongoing works in the auxiliary building at the headquarters, Mr. Ebie emphasized the need to make contractors expedite action to ensure that staff have conducive working environment to increase productivity.

Facility Tour

While interacting with the leadership of Dispute and Conflict Resolution Department, the board chairman urged them to increase the interaction with communities where NDDC projects are being cited to avoid vandalism and disruptions.

 NDDC Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku in company of other management staff conducted the Chairman round during the facility tour, which started from the auxiliary building to generator house, water supply and different directorates.
