Rivers State identified as viable place for investment

Rivers State has been identified as a viable place for investment.

This was the position of speakers at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Correspondent week of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ; Rivers State.

Guest speaker at the event, Dr. Emi Membere-Otaji, while speaking on the theme of the ceremony; Rivers State and quest for ideal investment climate; Role of the Media, pointed out that Rivers State has been one of the foremost enterprising places in the Country.

Dr. Membere-Otaji who is also a renowned entrepreneur, urged Nigerians and the people of Rivers State to invest in the State.

Partner of the Chapel, Mr. Ace China, also known as Mayor of Housing, wants people to celebrate and say good things about Rivers State.

Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, NUJ; Rivers State Council, Mr. Stanley Job-Stanley, encouraged Journalists to broadcast News that will advance peace and progress in the State.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman of the Correspondent Chapel of NUJ Rivers State, Mr. Amaechi Okonkwo, urged the Government and the people of the State, to work towards job creation in other to eradicate poverty in the State.

The 2023 Correspondents’ week in Rivers State climaxed with an Award/Gala night and a thanks giving Service.
