BENEFICIARIES OF NDDC FOREIGN POST GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP ENJOINED TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS

The Chairman Board of Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Mr. Chiedu Ebie has enjoined the beneficiaries of NDDC post graduate foreign scholarship to abide by the laws of the land of their studies .
Mr. Ebie who gave the advice during the award of twenty-twenty four and twenty-twenty-five session in Port Harcourt Rivers State, said that the process of selection was by merit .
He pledged the commitment of the management and board towards human capital development of the people of the region.
Similarly, Managing Director NDDC Dr. Samuel Ogbuku who told beneficiaries to be focused on their studies, encouraged them to be good ambassadors of Niger Delta Region and country at large.
The MD who expressed joy that eleven beneficiaries of last edition made distinction, challenged them that those that would graduate with distinction would be sponsored up-to doctorate degree.
While giving assurance of prompt payment of their entitlements, the MD advised the beneficiaries to be ICT compliant due to the system of education over there.
In response, the overall best applicant, Mr Azuka Chiedu applauded NDDC for giving them the opportunity to benefit from the programme.
About two hundred persons made the cut out of fifty six thousand entries.
