Governor Siminalayi Fubara reassures corps members of unwavering support

A total of one thousand,  six hundred and fifty eight Batch-B Stream two Corps  members have registered and resumed orientation in Rivers State.

Addressing the corps members at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at Nonwa-Gbam in Tai Local Government Area, Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara charged the corps members to be veritable tools for national development.

While commending the achievement of the scheme in past years, the Governor represented by the Permanent Secretary,  Cabinet Bureau, Office of the Secretary to the State Government,  Mr Hamilton Amadi, reassured of his administration’s unwavering support to the NYSC.

The Rivers State Director of the NYSC, Mr. George Mfongang in his address reminded the corp members that they have a role to play for the nation to attain its desired unity and integration; urging them further to take seriously the training programmes in the camp.

Earlier, the Chief Judge of Rivers State who was represented by Justice Godwin Osaronu administered the oath of service to the corps members.
