The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) distributes N1.818 trillion to the Federal Government, States, and Local Governments for June 2025.

The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation has announced that a sum of N1.818 trillion Naira, which constitutes the Federation Account Revenue for June 2025, has been distributed to the Federal Government, State Governments, and Local Government Councils.

This follows the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting July 2025 that took place in Abuja.

A breakdown of the gross statutory revenue show significant increase, with N3.485 trillion received in June 2025, a rise of N1.390 trillion compared to the N2.094 trillion recorded in May 2025.

The total revenue generated from Value Added Tax experienced a decline, dropping by N64.655 billion, going from N742.820 billion in May to N678.165 billion in June.

The announcement also highlights notable rises in Companies Income Tax (CIT), Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), and the Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL).

There were declines in revenue from oil and gas royalties, value-added tax (VAT), import duties, excise duties, and CET levies.
