Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, says the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is considering former President Goodluck Jonathan and former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi as possible candidates for the 2027 presidential election.

He described Jonathan as the most celebrated politician today and suggested that Obi could secure the party’s ticket if he returns to the PDP. Mohammed added that PDP governors are in contact with Obi, whom he referred to as his brother and friend.

He also mentioned other southern politicians, including Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, are free to contest.
