An accident occurred on Friday night along G.U. Ake Road, Port Harcourt near Ochiba Guest House, involving a Toyota Camry (Spider) with registration number “Abuja – RBC 463 DC” and a stationary lowbed truck.
According to eyewitness reports, the lowbed truck had just offloaded heavy-duty equipment for a nearby company and was preparing to depart when the Toyota Camry rammed into its rear. The impact badly damaged the car.
“The Camry was trying to overtake another vehicle at high speed before the driver noticed the truck,” the witness said.
Both occupants of the Toyota Camry survived the crash. However, the driver sustained minor injuries.
