Hosts, Edo State have opened an unassailable lead in the medals table at the 2nd Niger Delta Games in Benin City.
After 4 days of action Edo have so far garnered 47 medals comprising 22 gold, 12 silver and 13 bronze.
Delta are 2nd with 44 medals made up of 14 gold, 19 silver and 11 bronze.
Team Bayelsa occupy the third spot with 13 gold, 7 silver and 11 bronze, bringing their haul to 31 medals.
Abia, Cross River, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Imo follow in that order with Ondo bottom with 2 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze bringing their total to 8 medals
