Edo State Edo State house of Assembly service commission says the recent issuance of employment letters to three hundred and twenty four persons by the commission was unauthorised, illegal and unlawful.
This is contained in a public notice signed by the chairman of the commission, Sir Ezehi Igbas and the Secretary, Mrs Isokan Nehi – Olutu which was seen by Radio Nigeria in Benin City.
According to the public notice, all the employment letters issued to the three hundred and twenty four persons in request therefore by the commission remains null, void and of no effect whatsoever.
It noted that the commission tenders unreserved apologies to all recipients of the letters and deeply regards any inconveniences caused by the development.
