
Director General, Edo State tourism Agency, Lady Vivian Elabor has canvassed Partnership with the State Council of Radio, Television and Theatre Arts Workers Union of Nigeria, Rattawu to reposition the agency to greater heights.
Lady Elabor stated this while on a courtesy visit to the Executive of Radio, television and Theatre Arts workers Union of Nigeria, Rattawu , Edo State Council, in Benin City.
Lady Elabor who recalled her years of practice as a broadcaster in the United Kingdom, applauded Rattawu as one of Nigeria foremost labor Union that has made indelible impact on the Media and creative industry in the country.
Highlighting the enormous tourism potential of Edo State, lady Elabor stressed that the agency will continue to ensure that it achieve its mandate
” Let me also state that currently as we speak, the Edo Carnival is going on , it kicked up yesterday, that’s the first of it’s kind, from next year we are going to do something elaborate and bigger as well that will attract more international visitors and friends of Edo State “.
Earlier, Chairman, Radio Television and Theatre Arts workers Union of Nigeria, Rattawu, Edo State Council, Mr Ralph Ojekere said Rattawu as a union was ready to partner the agency to achieve its mandate.
Highpoint of the event was questions and answers session, group photograph and the presentation of a plague by the Rattawu chairman to the Director General of the Edo State tourism Agency, lady Vivian Elabor.
