
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has donated a 20 studio room complex to the Nigerian Navy Military School, Ikot Ntuen, Oruk Anam LGA as part of continued effort to actualize the ARISE Agenda using education.
The Governor inaugurated the building during the Passing Out Parade of 2025 Set of Young Sailors of the Nigerian Navy Military School, Ikot Ntuen.

Represented by Commissioner for Education, Professor Ubong Umoh, Governor Eno commended the professional training of the Young Sailors who upon graduation could compete nationally and globally.
Earlier in his address, the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, said the Passing Out Parade was organised to celebrate the graduating Young Sailors for their hard work, dedication and most importantly, to honour the outstanding Young Sailors who have distinguished themselves, in their academics and training.

The Naval chief, who was represented by Rear Admiral GSM Aligwe, expressed appreciation to members of staff of the school for their hard work and dedication, adding, that the team’s efforts in grooming and training the young Nigerians are glaring and highly commendable.
The elated Naval Chief commended the sustained investment of Governor Eno in the development of Akwa Ibom State through the ARISE Agenda.

The event, which was attended by top echelons of the military drawn from the Nigerian Navy, Army and Air Force, as well as parents and guardians of the 2025 graduating students, featured military parade, drills and presentation of awards to deserving Sailors with an Akwa Ibom Young Sailor, Lawrence, Alex Victor emerging as over all Best Graduating Student, claiming the Special Guest of Honour Award.
The 20 studio room staff quarters were in fulfillment of the promise made by Governor Umo Eno, during the 2024 Passing Out Parade Ceremony of the Young Sailors.
