Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the wife and family of Late Comrade Ifeanyi Azuazu, President of the Omoku Youth Federation, to share in their grief and express his heartfelt sympathy over the tragic loss of their husband, son and brother.
Deeply saddened by the incident, Hon. Umejuru strongly condemned the brutal killing of the late youth leader, describing it as painful, unfortunate, and unacceptable.
He emphasized that violence has no place in any society that seeks progress, peace, and development.
He used the opportunity to appeal to youths across ONELGA to shun violence and embrace peace, dialogue, and understanding, stressing that lasting development can only thrive in a peaceful environment.
Hon. Umejuru also called on security agencies to ensure a thorough investigation and to bring the perpetrators of this heinous act to justice.
Recall that Late Comrade Ifeanyi Azuazu was abducted by unknown gunmen in Omoku on Thursday, 5th February, and his lifeless and headless body was discovered the following day by the local security outfit.
May his soul rest in peace, and may God grant his family, friends, and the entire Omoku communities the strength to bear this painful loss.
