
Niger Delta Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Trade, Mines and Agriculture NDCCITMA is set to host Niger Delta Economic and Investment Summit.
Chairman Board of NDCCITMA, Ambassador IDAERE OGAN who made this known in Port Harcourt Rivers State explained that the Chamber of Commerce was targeting five billion Dollars investment that would create five hundred thousand jobs in the next five years.
According to the chairman, the submit that will have President Bola Tinubu as the Special Guest of honour and the Prime Minister of Babardos, Mia Amor -Mottley as the keynote speaker, would equally bring together investors, manufacturers and other businesses tycoons to explore investment opportunities in the region.

While calling on Governors and other stakeholders to join the move, Ambassador Ogan stated they key areas of focus during the summit would include, Agriculture value chain, manufacturing, logistics, blue economy among others.
“As a result of confidence, not only economic confidence but also, the security confidence that all is now well.
so, we are telling people and investors from all over the world, China, Europe, Latin America, that the Niger Delta is now safe for investment.
Thank God for what President Bola Tinubu has done in the Micro-economy for investors to come in. so, there is no better time to come into Niger Delta to invest than Now, and we are ready to support such investments.”
Similarly,. Chairman Organizing Committee for the summit, Dr. Solomon Edebiri who maintained that NDCCITMA was committed to empowering Small and Medium Scale enterprises in the region noted that the summit would provide a platform for business connectivity at all levels.
Dr. Edebiri who is also the Secretary Board of NDCCITMA acknowledged that the Business Roundtable held recently revealed various potentials in the region that should be maximized.
“Therefore, this summit will serve as a platform to present bankable projects and specific opportunities, facilitate business to business and business to government engagements, share insights and reform priorities.
Promote innovations and industrial linkages across sectors and enhanced support systems for SMEs and young entrepreneurs.
Niger Delta Economic and Investment summit is expected to deliver significant economic, social and institutional benefits to the region.”
The Chairman Summit Organizing Committee said that to create awareness, there would be road shows across the region, Lagos and Abuja.
