Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku says the commission needs God’s grace to be able to deliver on her mandate of rapid development of the oil rich region.
Dr. Ogbuku Who made this known during Thanksgiving Prayer Service to appreciate God for successful Golden Jubilee Celebration at NDDC headquarters in Port Harcourt Rivers State, acknowledged that no negative incident was recorded throughout the duration of the anniversary, that involved movement across the mandate states.
While reaffirming the determination of management to develop the region, the MD taxed staff on love and unity of purpose to fast track the development of Niger Delta Communities.
“It is our collective responsibility to ensure that this region continues to be the pride of Niger Delta and Nigeria, that is what we are working to achieve.
We celebrated our 25 years anniversary and the Lord was merciful to us, we traveled across the region and no accident occurred, no death. That means the Lord loves us.”
In a homily, officiating Minister, Pastor Sabbath Udoma who emphasized the importance of prayers in the life of Christians,
encouraged staff to have confidence in God and approach the throne of Grace with faith.
Pastor Udoma appreciated God for the present board and Management of NDDC who have demonstrated determination to make a difference in the region.
The Minister insisted that children of God were covenanted to long life and protection.
The service recorded a huge turnout of staff, directors and executive directors of the commission.
