
Cardiovascular and orthopedic hospital project embarked upon by Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, in Port Harcourt will be completed this year.
Chairman Board of NDDC, Mr. Chiedu Ebie who gave the assurance during inspection of the project alongside other Board members in Port Harcourt Rivers State that the admitted that the project would reduce medical tourism in the region.

While acknowledging the effort of the contractor on the project, Mr. EBIE assured that funds would be made available to guarantee speedy completion of the Specialist Hospital.
In the same vein, Managing Director NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku described the Hospital as a testament to the commitment of the interventionist agency, towards the healthcare needs of the people.

Dr. Ogbuku said that the hospital would be equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities and would serve as a Regional Hospital.
The contractor, Mr. Douglas Okafor who commended NDDC for taking up such a gigantic project, promised to complete the Specialist Hospital in record time according to specification.
