
National Orientation Agency and its partners have organized a week long capacity building workshop for leaders drawn from various sectors at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies Kuru.
This is in continuation of ongoing capacity building on the Nigerian Identity Project and the National Values Charter,.

According to a statement made available to Radio Nigeria, the training sessions focused on how and why leaders should understand, imbibe and embed the Nigerian Identity Project and the National Values Charter in their leadership styles as well as in their Organizations.
The training featured high level facilitators such as Dr Otive Igbuzor, former Chief of Staff to the former Deputy Senate President, Professor Adeniyi Abiodun of Baze University, both of whom were Members of the Ministerial Committee that reviewed the original Nigerian Identity Project document, Professor Umar Musa, Director of Research at NIPSS, ProfessorTor Joe Iorapuu, Immediate Past Vice Chancellor of Benue State University, Professor Elias, Directing Staff at NIPSS, Dr Kolawale OJO, among other Distinguished Scholars.
Director General of the NOA, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, who was represented by David Akoji, Director, Special Duties/ Zonal Coordination , provided an overview of the Nigerian Identity Project and the National Values Charter during the training.
