A new Acting zonal Director has been appointed for the South-South Zone of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).
He is Mr Frederick Shaka-Braimah who, until his appointment, was the Deputy Director, News and Current Affairs at the Lagos Operations of the Corporation.
Prior to this, he had served as the Bureau Chief of FRCN Network News in Lagos.
And as a reporter, he covered the Education beat and later the Energy beat, which he covered for more than two decades, during which he travelled far and wide to represent the Corporation at various international events.
Mr Braimah is a graduate of the University of Lagos, with two masters degrees in Political science and Mass communication.
Apart from being a member of his professional body, the Nigerian Union of Journalist (NUJ), he is also a member of the Guild of Editors, the highest journalism body in the country.
He is an alumni of the prestigious Schcool of Media and Communications of the pan African University; a member of Singapore Broadcating Association ( SINGBAA) as well as the National Association of Energy Correspondent (NAEC).
He is married and blessed with three children
