Youths of Ogoni land have called on the Hydrocarbon pollution Remediation Project, HYPREP to pay more attention to the issues of contaminated water, power projects and youths inclusion in the remediation of the area.
The youths from the four Local Government Areas where the Ogoni Clean up is situated made their concerns known at the Project’s quarterly interactive session with Ogoni youths in Port Harcourt.
Earlier while addressing the Ogoni youths, HYPREP Project Coordinator, Professor Nenibarini Zabbey emphasized their preparedness to ensure inclusivity and accurate clean-up of Ogoni land.
Professor Zabbey also identified communal differences as some of the challenges affecting the Project.
