
Minister of Regional Development, Chief Abubakar Momoh has attributed the progress being recorded by Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, to peace and understanding among the board, management and staff of the commission.
Chief Momoh who made the assertion during an interactive with staff and management of the commission at NDDC headquarters in Port Harcourt Rivers State, encouraged staff to continue to support the efforts of management to guarantee sustainability of the mile stones achieved.

While addressing the Minister earlier on, the Managing Director NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku acknowledged that the supervision and push from the minister played significant roles in the successes recorded by the commission.
Dr. Ogbuku who expressed happiness over the commitment of staff, assured that ongoing projects would be completed on schedule.

The Managing Director stated that the commission has keyed into the Renewed Hope Agenda of the president to guarantee rapid development of the oil rich region.
Apart from staff of the commission, Directors of the Ministry and permanent Secretary, Ministry of Regional Development, Dr. Mrs. Mary Ogbe were present at the forum.
