NIGER DELTA PROFESSIONAL ARTISANS COUNCIL ENDORSE NRM GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE, HIGH CHIEF SOBOMABO JACKRICH

HIGH CHIEF SOBOMABO JACKRICH RECEIVING CERTIFICATE OF ENDORSEMENT

As the campaign for twenty- twenty-three general elections gather momentum, Niger Delta Professional Artisans Council  from all the local government Areas in Rivers State including non-indigenes have pledged their support to the Governorship candidate of National Rescue Movement, Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich. 

In a communiqué read by the leader, Mr. Hero Jack, the professionals decried their plight in Rivers State and urged the governorship candidate to change the narrative by creating enabling environment for them to practice their trades. 

In the same vein, another member of the professionals, prince Barine while encouraging members of the group to get their permanent voter Cards, PVC, ready to vote for NRM, maintained that the Governorship candidate supports youth development. 

Mr. Barine who said that they were tired of bad governance requested for artisan village in Rivers State. 

While speaking to the group, the governorship candidate of National Rescue movement Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich who appreciated them for pledging their support to his quest, acknowledged that there have not been supportive programmes from the government for the artisans. 

Ambassador Jackrich who said that the party will take care of less privileged, run a transparent administration, promised a separate ministry for the Artisans.

Professional Artisans at the occasion

The NRM governorship candidate expressed sadness that multinationals have not been made to respect local content provisions which would create employment opportunities for artisans. 

According to him, Corporate Social Responsibility of international Companies is shrouded in uncertainty. 

High Chief Jackrich who said that Rivers State needs a youth with passion for the well-being of the people, encouraged the artisans to sensitize others about the importance of not selling their PVCs.

On his part, the Deputy Governorship candidate Reverend Lee Nwikpo said the party will rescue Rivers  State from cultism, lack of industrialization, kidnapping, youth restiveness and other vices. 

Reverend Nwikpo expressed optimism of victory for the party come 2023

Apart from presentation of certificate of endorsement, high point of the rally was reception of defectors from other political  parties into NRM family by the Chairman of the party in the state, Ibiyekaribo Peters who assured them of equal rights in the party.
