NAVY INAUGURATES PROJECTS AT NNS PATHFINDER

FOC EASTERN NAVAL COMMAND, REAR ADMIRAL IBRAHIM DEWU AND COMMANDER NNS PATHFINDER, COMMODORE, IBRAHIM SULEIMAN

Physical fitness has been described as a vital attribute for Naval Officers to be able to meet up with the demands of their assignments. 

The Flag Officer Commanding, FOC, Eastern Naval Command, Rear Admiral Ibrahim Dewu who made the assertion during the inauguration of projects carried out by the Commander, Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Pathfinder, Commodore Ibrahim Suleiman, at the base in Port Harcourt, gave assurance that seamen are well trained on their security duties. 

While commending the Commander NNS Pathfinder for his visionary leadership at the Naval base, the FOC stated that the sport complex will enhance the performance of Naval Officers from Eastern Naval Command   to continue to lead the way as the Champions at Naval games. 

According to him, the sport complex will provide the officers who emerged champions at last Navy games more opportunities and training facilities to be equipped with skills and technicalities to win future competitions.

He expressed delight over the renovated Rivers Hall which he said will be useful during Navy programmes.

Rear Admiral Dewu who said that the Sport complex will be used to host competitions, challenged officers to leverage on the complex to sharpen their skills. 

Apart from the sport complex, other projects inaugurated were Rivers Hall and Navy boat.
