NIGERIAN NAVY WINS PORT HARCOURT INTERNATIONAL POLO TOURNAMENT AGAIN

Naval officers have been enjoined to engage in horsemanship and sport in general as a training regimen.
The commander Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Pathfinder, Commodore Suleiman Ibrahim who gave the advice at the Port Harcourt International Polo Tournament noted that being able to control horses is a necessary skill that will make it easier for the officers to manage situations and handle machineries perfectly.


He stated that as seamen, their assignments involve movements from one location to the other, as such sports helps to build physical fitness which is a viable asset in the quest to secure the nation’s territorial integrity.

Commodore Ibrahim who led the Navy team expressed joy that Nigerian Navy Polo Team have emerged Champions back-to-back.



The Commander NNS Pathfinder acknowledged that the victory would spur more officers and ratings to higher heights.
