NDDC BOARD CHAIRMAN ADVOCATES ENTREPRENUERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR PEOPLE OF NIGER DELTA REGION

NDDC CHAIRMAN AND PHACCIMA PRESIDENT

Chairman, Governing Board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Mrs.  Lauretta Onochie says she is interested in developing the people of Niger Delta region. 

Mrs. Onochie, who made the commitment during a courtesy call by Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, PHACCIMA, insisted on human capacity development.

She told the delegation that NDDC would partner them to raise young entrepreneurs from Niger Delta region which would serve as antidote to youth restiveness. 

The Chairman noted that there are various opportunities within and outside the country which the youths can take advantage of with exposure. 

She promised to look into promises made to the chamber by previous leadership so as to iron them out. 

Earlier on, President  Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and agriculture, PHCCIMA, Eze Mike Elechi said that they intend to grow micro small  and medium enterprises MSMEs in the Niger Delta region. 

Eze Elechi who  asked for partnership with the commission to  groom entrepreneurs in the region requested that NDDC Sponsor the forthcoming International Trade fair. 

The PHACCIMA president appreciated NDDC for the corporation they have enjoyed in the past.
