SIX DIVISION NIGERIAN ARMY PARADES TWELVE SUSPECTED VANDALS

Six Division Garison Nigerian Army Port has paraded twelve suspected vandals for engaging in illegal oil bunkering at Ahoada area of Rivers State.
Briefing Journalists while parading the suspects in Bori Camp Port Harcourt, the Commander Six Division Garrison, Brigadier General Eddy Effiong described as unfortunate, the negative effect of oil theft on the economy.
Brigadier General Effiong who insisted on the commitment of Nigerian military to tackle crude oil theft in Niger Delta Region added that measures have been put in place to put the trend on check.
Similarly, the Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations, Six Division Nigerian Army, lieutenant Colonel Ikedichi Iweha called on communities to discourage their youths from engaging in illegal oil deals.
Lieutenant Colonel Iweha who revealed that the vandals were traced to the bunkering site, said that the suspects would be handed over to prosecuting agency.
Motorcycles, crude oil, wheel barrow among others were confiscated from the suspects
