The managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC Dr. Samuel Ogbuku says the commission has made some remarkable improvements in its corporate image.

Dr. Ogbuku who made this known while addressing staff on the appointment of new board to manage the interventionist agency, pledged his determination to actualize the renewed vision of Federal Government.

The Managing Director who acknowledged that the past Executive Directors were committed to the development of the region expressed hope that newly appointed board members would possess the same spirit.

The Chief Executive Officer who   noted that staff have been his backbone solicited continued support of the entire workforce  to make his functions easy as a servant leader.

The CEO insisted that he wants to run an open-door policy and remains accessible for ideas and suggestions.

The MD  told staff that he believes in fairness, equity and justice, adding that all departments synergize towards a common goal.

He directed departments to seek and get approval before embarking on programmes.

According to him, the reason for that is to guard against fraudsters using the commission’s name to dupe people.

Reacting, the Chairman of staff Union, Mr. Gbendo Kuro thanked the Managing Director for approving new condition of service, promotion and other staff welfare.

Mr. Kuro assured the MD of staff loyalty and support.
