NDDC CHARGES CONTRACTORS TO STICK TO APPROVED SPECIFICATIONS

Contractors working on projects by Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC have been urged to stick to approved specifications to guarantee durability.
The Executive Director Projects NDDC, Mr. Victor Antai who came up with this during inspection of ongoing and completed projects in Arochukwu Abia State, insisted that the present administration was committed to the delivery of quality projects.
According to Mr. Antai, NDDC was building both internal roads and other interstate roads in the locality that would connect Abia, Akwa Ibom and Cross River States.
Reacting to the development the Eze Atani, His Royal Highness, Dr. Charles Kanu and another elder, Chief Lawson Obasi while applauding NDDC for the roads and Solar powered street light, explained that the areas were in terrible condition before NDDC intervened.
Similarly another Monarch, Eze Ogbonna Okoro requested that the roads be extended beyond swampy areas to enable the people access farmlands.
The projects covered Obinkita, Ugbo, Amuvi, Amankwu communities in Arochukwu Local Government Area.
