AMBASSADOR SOBOMABO JACKRICH REGAINS FREEDOM AFTER TWO DAYS IN CAPTIVITY
Report says the Governorship Candidate of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, in Rivers State in the 2023 elections, Ambassador Sobomabo Jackrich has regained his freedom.
The report which was confirmed in a statement by his media aide, Victor Effiong said the ex-Niger Delta Freedom Fighter, Sobomabo Jackrich popularly known as Egberi Papa was released from the custody of yet to be confirmed security operatives in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.
Efforts to reach the NRM candidate to speak officially on his present travail proved abortive.
Meanwhile, an aide to Egberi Papa, Isaac Gabriel who witnessed the raid said several valuables and personal effects of his boss were looted and properties destroyed by the security operatives who laid siege in the house.
Similarly, a brother to late Diamond Tamunoiminabo who was shot dead during the raid, Wisdom Martins said his brother was shot dead right in his presence without any confrontation with the security operatives.
Mr. Martins who was still in shock, described as painful, the loss of his brother.
