NEW COMMANDANT TAKES OVER AT NSCDC RIVERS STATE COMMAND, CHARGES OFFICERS TO BE DEDICATED

A new State Commandant has been deployed to the Rivers State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps NSCDC.
He is Commandant Basil Igwebueze.
In his inaugural speech the newly deployed NSCDC State Commandant said “his administration would be Intelligence driven because failed security is failed Intelligence”
Commandant Igwebueze charged the officers and men to be dedicated to their assigned duties and remain discipline. He noted that lack of communication and indiscipline often leads to misunderstanding in an administrative system.
He restated commitment to synergy with Sister Agencies stating that Security is a collective responsibility.
The NSCDC new State Boss also promised to engage reputable Stakeholders such as Traditional Institutions, Civil Society Organizations, the Media, Faith Based Organizations, the Youth amongst others.
While appreciating the commandant General for the opportunity to serve in Rivers State, he congratulated Governor Siminalayi Fubara for the work he has started assuring that under his watch, the NSCDC will work closely with the government.
Earlier, while introducing the new Commandant, the Zone L Commander, ACG James Bassey enjoined the officers to give the best of their Service in full support to the new administration noting that humility in Service delivery is a vital tool to a successful leadership.
