of the occasion and Vice Chancellor University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT, Professor Onwunari Georgewill who was happy that the school is ranked tops in the country, maintained that the institution believes in total education with practical exposure.

Giving details of the programme, the Director Center for Information and Telecommunication Engineering, Professor Bourdillion Omijeh who was optimistic about the quality of skills the participants gained, named some of the packages to include, design and construction of drones, Bluetooth controlled robotic car, GSM-based home automation, voice-controlled lighting systems, coding among others. 

In the same vein, Commissioner for Youths Development, Rivers State, Dr. Chisom Gbali  stressed the importance of skills among the youths. 

Dr. Gbali charged the trainees to exploit the gains of the training and get themselves equipped for the future.

Over two hundred trainees of young age participated in the training.
