NDDC, FRCN STRENTHEN COLLABORATION ON IMAGE REBRANDING FOR THE COMMISION

The Director Corporate Affairs Department Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Pius Ughakpoteni says the commission requires a renewed collaboration with Radio Nigeria to drive the development of the region.
Dr. Ughakpoteni who made this known as part of familiarization visit to media houses said the commission is being re-branded, hence the need to leverage on the reach of FRCN to propagate the new gospel.
He asked the station to partner NDDC not just a media outfit, but as a stakeholder in re-shaping the image of the interventionist agency.
Responding, the Zonal Director Radio Nigeria South-South, Mr. Lucky Obaren assured the team of the station’s readiness to carry out adequate publicity of NDDC activities across the region.
Mr. Obarein told the delegation that the station would continue to prioritize NDDC programmes in its local, Zonal and Network News platforms.
The Zonal Director suggested that NDDC create a forum to be meeting with media houses in a relaxed platform as s feedback mechanism.
Apart from the Zonal Director, other management staff were present during the visit.
