NDDC NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM COMMITS TO MAKING POSITIVE IMPACTS

Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku says the New Executive Directors of the commission are determined to make positive impacts in the region.
Dr. Ogbuku who made this known during the maiden interactive between new management and staff, at NDDC headquarters in Port Harcourt Rivers State, expressed confidence in the ability of the executive directors to ensure that activities are carried out with a touch of excellence.
The Managing Director who spoke against tribalism and nepotism, encouraged staff to corporate with management to facilitate the development of Niger Delta region.
The Chief Executive Officer of NDDC advised staff not to de-market the agency but exhibit characters that promote good image of the commission.
While giving assurance of his policy to run open door administration and sample useful information from staff that would move the agency forward, Dr. Ogbuku emphasized peace, unity, love, harmony and progress.
According to him, the board members are experienced in various areas of endeavours.
The Managing Director of the interventionist agency however warned that insubordination would not be tolerated.
Similarly, Executive Director Finance and Administration, Chief Boma Iyaye who noted that Niger Delta region has common challenges of under development, poverty and environmental issues gave assurance that welfare of staff would be paramount in consideration, to boost their morale.
On his part, Executive Director Projects, Victor Antai, stated that management has resolved to take the commission to greater heights.
In the same vein, the Executive Director Corporate Services, Mr. Ifedayo Abegunde said that they were prepared to carry out activities that would guarantee inclusiveness and well-being of the people.
Reacting, the Staff union chairman, Mr. Gbendo Kuro assured them that staff were ready to support the new management.
