MAJOR GENERAL ABDUSSALAM CHARGES OFFICERS TO CLAMP DOWN ON CRIMINALITY,  AS DANJUMA IS DECORATED WITH NEW RANK

General Officer Commanding, GOC, Six Division Nigerian Army Port Harcourt, Major General Jamal Abdussalam has charged officers not to condone criminality  at any level. 

Major General Abdulsalam gave the charge at Six Division headquarters in Port Harcourt Rivers State, during the decoration of the Acting Deputy Director Six Division Army Public Relations, lieutenant Colonel Danjuma Jonah, having been promoted from the rank of a Major.

The GOC described as dangerous, treating criminality with kid gloves, adding that such negligence would be injurious to the nation. 

While admitting that the officer merited the promotion, judging by his performance both within and outside the country, Major General Abdussalam who is also the Land component Commander South-South, Operation Delta Safe, tasked senior officers to mentor junior ones. 

Similarly, the Chief of Staff, 6  Division, Brigadier General Babatunde Omopariola applauded LT. COL. Danjuma for his doggedness, proactiveness and cordial relationship with sister security agencies.

In his response, the Newly Decorated Officer and Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations, Six Division Nigerian Army, lieutenant Colonel Danjuma Jonah who appreciated Army hierarchy and his family for support, expressed joy for the elevation. 

Colonel Jonah who acknowledged that the new rank comes with responsibilities pledged readiness to carry out his assignments with a touch of excellence. 

The event was attended by family members, friends and military officers.
