The Executive Director Projects, Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Mr. Victor Antai says the present management is committed to executing landmark Projects across Niger Delta region.
Mr. Antai who made the commitment during the inspection of Obehie Road in Ukwa West local government and other projects in Abia State, described the project as critical to the well-being of the residents.
According to Mr. Antai, the nine kilometers road is a link among, Rivers, Abia, Akwa Ibom and cross River State, adding that it would also serve as an alternative to East West Road.
During an interactive with staff of Abia State Office, the EDP encouraged them to key into the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President by enhancing the development of Niger Delta region.
On his part, Director Abia State Office NDDC, prince Azubuike Nwubani told the Executive Director Projects, that staff of the state office were dutiful and competent in various fields.
Prince Nwubani who described the road as a big relief to the communities, appreciated the EDP and his team for the project inspection tour in Abia State.
The working visit was part of projects inspection tour meant to cover the nine states of NDDC to ascertain the level of compliance to standards by contractors.
