NDDC, IKWERE LGA BUILT MARKET INAUGURATED IN OMAGWA

Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku says the Commission will continue to execute projects that would have positive impacts in lives of rural dwellers. 

Dr. Ogbuku who made the commitment at Omagwa   during the Inauguration of Omagwa International Market and Park, done in partnership with Ikwere Local Government Authority, said the commission was embarking on several landmark projects across the region through public private partnership, PPP.

He noted that the project was completed in compliance to the directive of Mr. President to complete all abandoned and ongoing projects across the region. 

Similarly, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory FCT,  Nwesom Wike who was represented by Minority Leader, House of Representatives,  Okechukwu Chinda urged political leaders to continue to deliver dividends of Democracy till  their last day in office. 

On his Part, the Chairman, Ikwere Local Government Area, Rivers State, Dr. Samuel Nwanosike told the people that he was following the footsteps of the former Governor of Rivers State in Project execution. 

The Ikwere Local Government Chairman however commended recent decisions taken by Rivers State House of Assembly. 

The market has one hundred and twenty lock up shops, seventy open shops, a police station, generator house and motor park.
