Following a crucial meeting held with some stakeholders and women leaders of Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru made a passionate appeal for unity and commitment to the peace process initiated by His Excellency, Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara. The meeting, which was convened to deliberate on ongoing political developments in Rivers State, provided a platform for candid dialogue and reaffirmation of loyalty to the governor’s leadership.
‎
‎”I have called this meeting to brief leaders of various zones in ONELGA what’s happening in the politics of our State. I know a lot of you, as stakeholders, were there in the last meeting we held with our dear Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara. You heard him and listened to him. Sincerely, I saw a lot of faces dream.

‎
‎”But today, I have deemed it necessary to come, let’s talk as one family, to tell you again that yes, I have got a lot of texts, chats, calls, but I want to tell you that I, Prince Isaac Umejuru, will stand by Sir Siminalayi Fubara in all his decisions and will oblige to his peace process no matter what it is.
‎
‎”Everybody sitting here today, I am one of the youngest. Sometimes, I kneel down to say, God, thank you, because you have said you showed me love. Since you have said you love me, I want to say that we, the ONELGANS should relax and follow suit in the peace process of Sir Siminalayi Fubara.
‎
‎”We listened to him. He said we should blindfold ourselves and follow him, that he will not lead us into a ditch. I believe that strongly. I know a lot of our worries but I want to tell you that from this day, I will follow Fubara to make sure that the least person in River State will feel the dividends of democracy in his governance.
‎
‎”I stand firmly with Her Excellency, Prof. Mrs. Ngozi Nma Odu, our mother and political leader in this zone. As someone who holds her in the highest regard, I cannot but align myself with her unwavering belief in the peace process championed by our dear Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara. Her commitment to unity and progress inspires me deeply, and I will continue to stand with her in ensuring that peace and stability remain the foundation of our political journey in Rivers State.
‎

‎
“He has said that every political thing should be left for our father, the former governor of River State, Chief Barrister E. N. Wike. It is okay. He has said that some people that were basically in the forefront will not be in the system. It is okay. Yes, that’s why I will join forces to say that there is no prize that is too heavy to pay for peace. It is not just for my interest. It is not your interest, but the interest of ONELGANS and River people at large”
‎
‎Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru’s remarks served as a resounding call for continued loyalty, patience, and solidarity. His firm stance behind Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s peace process reflects a clear vision for a united and prosperous Rivers State.
‎
‎His leadership, rooted in humility and guided by faith, continues to inspire trust among the youth and the larger ONELGA community. As political tides shift, Hon. Umejuru remains a stabilizing force, urging all to put communal interest above personal ambitions.
