In a major show of solidarity and renewed political alignment, ward coordinators of the defunct Simplified Movement across the 17 wards and the six geopolitical zones of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) have declared unwavering support for the peace-driven leadership of the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara .

The historic gathering, hosted by the former ONELGA Chairman, Hon. Prince Isaac Umejuru, was a landmark convergence of grassroots leaders, where the tone was unity, hope, and loyalty to the ongoing peace process.

Speaking passionately, Prince Umejuru praised Sir Fubara’s resolute commitment to stability, describing him as “a leader who not only deserved the people’s love but has earned it through capacity and character.

He also hailed the suspended Deputy Governor, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, who he described as mother of ONELGA, and pillar of consistency for her motherly strength in the journey towards lasting peace in the state.

On his part, a former leader of the forum from Ndoni ward 13 Hon. Kingsley Okwuosa emphasized that Governor Fubara’s leadership has not only come to stay but had ignited fresh expectations among the people of Rivers State.

“The entire state eagerly awaits the reaffirmation of the Governor’s full leadership presence in Government House,” he remarked,.

He commended Hon. Umejuru for hosting what he described as a “politically strategic gathering” that will inspire confidence and fortitude in the face of political distractions. Okwuosa also lauded Umejuru’s charismatic leadership style and his consistent dedication to advancing the political consciousness of the people of ONELGA under the wise counsel of elders and stakeholders.
