Rivers State Coordinator of the NYSC, Mr. Moses Oleghe has urged Corps Members to prioritize the 10-day SAED training, which lasts 3 hours each day, to fully gain from the various opportunities provided by the SAED programme.
He expressed this today when he launched the SAED programme for the orientation exercise of the 2025 Batch B Stream One Corps Members assigned to Rivers State.
Mr. Oleghe informed the Corps Members that the SAED programme is a “deliberate, intentional, and far-reaching initiative of the NYSC top management designed to lift Corps Members out of poverty and offer them a platform for economic growth and prosperity.”
The Rivers State NYSC Team Lead concluded by assuring the Corps Members of the Scheme’s strategic partnership with regulatory bodies such as NAFDAC, CAC, and SON, amongst others, to help them register their businesses, while funding institutions are on the ground to help them with start-up grants for businesses.

Earlier in her welcome remark, the SAED officer of the State, Mrs. Carol Chukwu had appreciated the State Coordinator for his “overwhelming love and support for the SAED committee,” and enjoined the Corps Members to make the right decision that will impact them positively tomorrow, by choosing to participate actively in the SAED in-camp training.
