Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria,FRCN South South Zone is to partner the Rivers State Police Command in the task of Nation building.

The Zonal Director of the corporation, Mr Lucky Obarein made this known when he led members of management on a courtesy visit to the Rivers State Commissioner of Police , Mr. Eboka Friday in his office, Port Harcourt.
Mr Obarein stated that Radio Nigeria had been in the forefront of propagating peace and unity as such will collaborate with the police to produce programs that will enlighten and project activities of the command in the state.
The FRCN Zonal boss Mr Obarein commended effort of the Commissioner of police in the fight against crime and criminality in the state.
Responding, the Commissioner of Police Mr Eboka Friday appreciated the management of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria South South Zonal Office for the visit and promised that the command will continue to partner the corporation for effective reportage .
The police boss explained that since the advent of social media, fake News had become the order of the day but the role of the mainstream media can not be over emphasize for factual reporting of security and related issues happening in the country.
Mr Friday enjoined Radio Nigeria to continue with the promotion of the command’s activities.
