NDDC INAUGURATES INTERNAL ROAD IN NIGER DELTA UNIVERSITY AMASSOMA, BAYELSA STATE

The Managing Director Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC Dr. Samuel Ogbuku says that the commission will change the negative perception about it by showcasing its achievements across Niger Delta region.
Dr. Ogbuku who made this known while inaugurating one point five kilometre Internal Road at Niger Delta University, NDU, Amassoma Bayelsa State, described the project as historic for him, being the First since he assumed office.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Interventionist agency while giving assurance of the determination of NDDC to provide social and infrastructural amenities that would enhance academic excellence, expressed confidence of the durability of the projects.
During a courtesy call at the Vice Chancellor’s office earlier on, Dr. Ogbuku encouraged the University to delve into scientific and medical research to boost the rating and economic viability of the institution.
On his part, Vice Chancellor Niger Delta University, NDU, Professor Samuel Edoumiekumo, said that the University is committed to churning out graduates that can compete with their peers at any level.
Professor Edoumiekumo applauded the NDDC for various projects done at the institution.
NDDC has already donated one thousand KVA generator, thirty two sitter bus, awarded the construction of one thousand bed space prototype Hostel, among other projects to the institution.
