KINGSLEY IZEJIOBI

Wealthy Nigerians have been called upon to use their wealth and position to give helping hands to less advantaged Nigerians.

The Auxiliary Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Port Harcourt, Most Reverend Patrick Eluke made the call during a homily at St Francis Catholic Church in Port Harcourt.

He said the call has become necessary following the harsh economic condition in which millions of Nigerians find it difficult to feed their families.

The Auxiliary Bishop reminded the wealthy in the society that their blessings are not to be used to oppress the poor, but to uplift the down trodden in the society

Most Reverend Patrick Eluke called on Nigerians especially Christians to continue to intensify prayers for the country to overcome the current political and economic crisis in the land.
