The Isoko North chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors has intensified its grassroots mobilisation drive ahead of the 2027 general elections, with its leadership directing political structures across all wards and polling units to begin coordinated campaigns in support of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The mobilisation campaign was formally launched on Friday during a strategic leadership meeting convened by the group’s Local Government Coordinator and Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Council, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, at his country home in Otor-Igho Community.
At the meeting, attended by the 13 Ward Coordinators and Deputy Local Government Coordinator, Comrade Ovie Umuakpor, Ogorugba unveiled a grassroots strategy aimed at consolidating the APC’s growing support base and positioning the party for a strong showing in the 2027 elections.
He directed ward coordinators to immediately begin regular engagements with unit coordinators and party executives, stressing that every polling unit must become an active centre for voter mobilisation and political outreach.
According to him, sustained grassroots engagement remains the surest pathway to electoral success, noting that the APC must begin preparations well ahead of the election season.
“Every ward and every polling unit must be fully mobilised. Our work starts now because elections are won through early organisation, effective mobilisation and sustained engagement with the people,” Ogorugba said.
The council chairman urged members to intensify voter sensitisation in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and all APC candidates, expressing confidence that the developmental programmes of both administrations would strengthen the party’s appeal to the electorate.
He also charged members to maintain unity, discipline and loyalty, while expanding the party’s membership through sustained grassroots engagement and community outreach.
Responding on behalf of the ward coordinators, the leaders pledged to immediately implement the decisions reached at the meeting by activating mobilisation structures in all 13 wards and polling units.
The meeting concluded with a unanimous resolution to commence aggressive grassroots campaigns, with members expressing confidence that an early mobilisation strategy would translate into overwhelming electoral victories for the APC in Isoko North during the 2027 general elections.
