
The Cross River State Government has unveiled the State Diaspora Commission and its Logo.
The unveiling marks a significant milestone in the history of the State and serves as a network to drive economic growth, innovation and development in Cross River State.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, the Chief of Mission, International Organisation for Migration (IOM) Ms Sharon Dimanche , represented by ukamaka Nnachi emphasized that the establishment of CRIDCOM was timely and strategic in a world where diaspora communities are increasingly recognised as powerful agents.
Ms Dimanche said the Commission provides a structured platform for collaboration, investment, knowledge exchange and advocacy between Cross Riverians abroad and their home State.

In an address of welcome ,the Chairman of the Cross River State Diaspora Commission, Prince Otu Okor acknowledged and expressed gratitude to all those who have contributed to the establishment of the Commission.
In a Remark by the Governor of Croo River State, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, who was represented by his Deputy, Rt Hon Peter Odey described the establishment of CRIDCOM as a brainchild of the present administration designed to harness the immense potential of Cross River indigenes in the Diaspora.
The Governor called on Cross Riverians abroad to collaborate and contribute their quota to the development of the State.
