A woman identified as Gift has been arrested by operatives of the Nkpolu Police Division in Diobu, Port Harcourt, for cutting off the tip of her male lover’s sex organ.
The incident reportedly happened at Bishop Okoye Street, Mile 3 Diobu. It was gathered that neighbours were alerted by loud screams from Mr. Sunday. According to sources, it took the timely intervention of the Divisional Police Officer of Nkpolu Police Division and his men to rescue Miss Gift from a mob that attempted to lynch her.
The victim, Mr. Sunday, is said to be receiving medical treatment following the attack. Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, SP Grace Iringe Koko, while confirming the incident, said the woman has been arrested and an investigation is ongoing.
