The Director-General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Dr. Mohammed Bulama, has reaffirmed the corporation’s commitment to staff development through continuous training and retraining to boost service delivery across its stations.

He made this known while receiving the President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union RATTAWU, Prince Emeka Kalu, who paid him a courtesy visit at the FRCN headquarters in Abuja.

Dr Bulama emphasized that improving the welfare and working conditions of staff remains a priority, adding that efforts are ongoing to upgrade FRCN’s facilities nationwide to meet modern broadcasting standards.

While congratulating the RATTAWU President on his election, Dr. Bulama pledged maximum cooperation with the union at both national and chapel levels, urging the leadership to work towards the collective good of its members.

In his remarks, the RATTAWU President, Prince Emeka Kalu, called for unity and peaceful collaboration among media, arts, and theatre workers, stressing that such an environment promotes productivity and development in the industry.

Prince Emeka also pledged the union’s support for management efforts aimed at repositioning the media sector and enhancing professionalism.
