Following Warri Wolves football club two one loss at home to the Shooting Stars of Ibadan in the NPFL match decided last Sunday, the Delta State Sports Commission has suspended the Head Coach of the club, Aluma Napoleon with immediate effect.
Executive Chairman of the Sports Commission , Onoriode Oborevwori,in a statement by the director Media and Publicity, Mrs Franca Okonma, directed the suspended Head Coach to handover all official documents and responsibilities to the Assistant Coach, Jonny Austin who will oversee the affairs of the club until further notice.
Oborevwori assured fans and supporters of Warri Wolves football club of the commission’s commitment to repositioning the club for improved performance and sustainable success .
Warri Wolves football club has recorded two wins, three losses and one draw in the ongoing 2025/2026 season.
Meanwhile, the suspended Head Coach of Warri Wolves football club Aluma Napoleon is yet to react to his suspension as at the time of filing this report
