The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Mr. Blessing Agbebaku, has directed the leadership of the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) to appear before the House on Tuesday, 2nd December 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

‎The speaker, who gave the directive reminded members of the House of the repeated calls made to FERMA to inspect federal roads in Edo State with a view to fixing bad spots ahead of the festive season.
‎
‎He noted that though FERMA was not responsible for full-scale road construction, it had the mandate to carry out rehabilitation works to ease transportation challenges for citizens.
‎
‎He emphasized that the House was constitutionally empowered to advance the interests of the people of Edo State and the country at large.
