The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation Development has informed beneficiaries who have made the required down payment for tractors but are yet to take delivery from the Ministry’s premises to do so before the 22nd of this month.
The Cross River State Commissioner for Agriculture and Irrigation Development, Mr. Johnson Ebokpo who made this known in Calabar, said any tractor not collected on the stipulated date, would be reassigned to individuals on the waiting list after the deadline.
According to him, where such reassignment occurs, affected beneficiaries would be required to wait until the next batch of tractors is delivered to the Ministry before allocation can be reconsidered.
The Commissioner explained that the notice was issued to ensure efficient allocation and optimal utilization of available tractors.
He advised that all concerned beneficiaries are therefore urged to comply promptly.
