The well known philanthropist, prominent Nigerian international builder, real estate developer, and CEO of Standout Properties Limited, from Otor-Owhe, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, noted that representation must be more than presence in Abuja, must be visible at home, must be felt in the lives of the people and translate into measurable progress.
The All Progressives Congress Aspirant for 2027 general elections is well recognised for his work in the building industry, grassroots politics, sports sponsorship, and humanitarian services and a certified, award-winning builder (FNIOB) focusing on sustainable housing in Africa.
The statement titled “My Dear People Of Isoko North And South Federal Constituency!”, read in parts:
“There comes a time in the life of a people when silence is no longer an option, and service becomes a responsibility that must be embraced with courage and clarity. That time is now. After a deep reflection, wide consultations, and a firm conviction rooted in my lifelong commitment to our people, I, Sir (Bldr.) Blessing Oghale Obomovo, hereby formally declare my intention to contest for the office of Member, House of Representatives, to represent the good people of Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections. This decision is not driven by ambition for office, but by a burden for service.
“I come into this race as a son of the soil, one who understands the realities of our people and who have walked the same paths, shared in the same struggles, and witnessed firsthand the paradox of a land richly blessed yet insufficiently developed., a people full of potential yet unharnessed . But I believe that story can change and that time is now. My aspiration is anchored on a clear and practical vision, captured in the OGHALEISOKO2027 Agenda. A people-driven framework built on accessible representation, strategic legislative engagement, infrastructure development, quality healthcare, economic empowerment, and above all, unity.
“I believe representation must be more than presence in Abuja.
It must be visible at home. It must be felt in the lives of the people.
It must translate into measurable progress. I offer myself not just as a candidate, but as a servant representative prepared to provide practical and accessible representation that keeps the people at the center. Leverage legislative influence through strategic lobbying and oversight to attract federal opportunities to Isoko. Champion power infrastructure, and industrial growth as the foundation for development. Expand access to quality healthcare and education. Drive youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and skills development.
“Promote a united Isoko, where our collective strength becomes our greatest advantage. I do not claim to have all the answers, but I bring experience and capacity. I bring a proven track record of building not just structures, but people. Most importantly, I bring a heart committed to service. To the youths, I see your energy and your aspirations. To the women, I recognize your strength and your role as pillars of our communities. To our elders and leaders, I honor your wisdom and guidance.
“I do not seek this office to lord over our leaders, but to serve as a representative of the Isoko people. This is not just my declaration. It is a call to collective action. Together, we can rewrite the story of Isoko. Together, we can build a future that reflects the true potential of our people. The blessing of Isoko is not a distant hope. It is a responsibility we must now claim. May God guide us all.”, the aspirant stated.
