As part of efforts to keep the Nation’s maritime safe, the Nigeria Navy has officially flagged off exercise obangame 2026.
Speaking during the flag-off exercise in Port Harcourt, the chief of naval staff vice admiral Idi Abbas who was represented by the Chief of Operations naval Headquarters, Rear Admiral Patrick Effa said the exercise was designed to safeguard the maritime domain against threats and criminality.
Vice admiral Abbas said high-level intelligence equipment have been deployed for the exercise.
The chief of naval staff further assured citizens of a more stable and secured maritime domain in the Country.
